Mary Hastie has lived and worked in Cumbria since childhood. Inspired by the colours, textures and spaces of the Lake District's ancient buildings and landscapes, her handmade ceramic based items capture the elusive spirit of Vinandra (Lake Windermere in old dialect). Choker, necklaces and cufflinks are just the beginning.
The ceramic beads create smooth and satisfyingly solid stones that gleam with the colours of nature.
